PiM.studio Architects is seeking Part 1/2 architects to join its practice in London.
PiM.studio is an ambitious practice based in London working on architecture, urban design and beyond; we are looking for an experienced Part 1/2 architectural assistant/qualified architect to join our team in London.
The role will involve working on a variety of projects in residential, education, arts, and culture sectors.
You should be enthusiastic, creative and energetic.
Responsibilities include:
- designing and delivering building projects through all RIBA stages
- presentations to and meetings with clients, consultants and contractors etc.
- assisting with compilation of EOI and competition documents
- 2D CAD drawings
- 3D models using SketchUp and Rhino
- presentation visuals/renderings using Photoshop
- graphic design and artwork for diagrams
- compilation of presentations in InDesign
Required skills and experience:
- RIBA Part 1/2/3 (or equivalent qualifications)
- eligible to work in the UK
- exceptional design skills and a high level of competency in delivering building projects from start to finish
- good working knowledge of AutoCAD high level of competency with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- 3D and physical modelling skills are beneficial good research and development techniques
- strong project management skills
- excellent communication and presentation skills
- fluency in written and spoken English
- effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team
- excellent craft and model‐making skills
- good time management, planning and attention to detail
- ability to multitask while working under pressure
- ability to think creatively and problem solve through design
- professional and ‘can‐do’ attitude
Salary is in-line with RIBA scales and based on experience.
