Graphic designer

David Chipperfield Architects is seeking a graphic designer to join its practice in London.
This wide-ranging position plays a central role in communicating the design of David Chipperfield Architects. The graphic designer is responsible for the graphic design for communications, new business and project teams, developing company brand guidelines and ensuring brand consistency.
Key responsibilities:
- designing and producing exceptional quality printed project brochures, competition and award submissions
- designing and producing screen presentations incorporating animation, film and effects
- evolving the existing set of graphic guidelines and templates and acting as brand guardian
- supporting the new business team preparing bids and proposals in order to ensure the highest standard of bid submission and portfolio material
- managing the print production process, determining paper stocks, print processes and binding techniques, and ensuring all deliverables are on time and budget
- supporting project teams with end of stage reports, screen presentations and panel design
- retouching images using Adobe Photoshop
- modifying drawings and diagrams using Adobe Illustrator
- assisting maintaining the open asset database of photographic images
- proofreading and editing the work of others
- sharing expertise with others providing training sessions on InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator
- other duties commensurate with this role that may be required from time to time
The person:
- minimum three years’ experience producing high-quality design for print and screen
- graphic design qualification
- experience of managing quality print production to strict deadlines
- high-level command of all necessary software
