Production manager
Humans since 1982 has an opportunity for a production manager to join its team in Stockholm, Sweden.
Work description:
We are seeking an experienced, motivated and result-oriented production manager with background of dealing with production of electro-mechanical systems within the design or art field, to join our dedicated and driven team at the rapidly growing Stockholm-based art studio Humans since 1982.
Key responsibilities:
- responsibility over planning and securing the resources for the production, placing orders, manage assembly, installation and maintenance of the studio’s art works
- secure and be responsible for the whole supply chain from production to installation of the art pieces
- responsible for that the studio’s artworks fulfill the artists’ and designers vision of quality and design, throughout the whole supply chain and production process
- responsible for production budget and manufacturing cost calculations
- implement R&D features and new updates to our artwork’s product lines
- implement KPIs to identify bottlenecks and improve the current production
- negotiate with suppliers and consultants
- establish contacts with art handlers worldwide for handling of the installation of the studio’s artworks to to clients like art collectors, museums and galleries and fairs
- coordination with support manager
Knowledge and skills required:
- maintain documentation regarding production – parts, production and assembly
- prior experience in development and execution of technically complex, multidisciplinary projects, strong CAD skills and meticulous attention to detail
- strong problem solving skills
- supply chain management

- ability to take a holistic responsibility and perspective but still remain a sense of details

Minimum education required:
- bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree is an advantage
Minimum experience required:
- minimum two years within mechanical engineering or product development
Meriting experience
- work at a smaller manufacturing company with connection to both production, suppliers and logistics
Starting date:
- as soon as possible
