Part 1 architectural assistant

Nagan Johnson Architects are looking for a Part 1 architectural assistant to join its small, close-knit team in Waterloo, London.
Nagan Johnson is an award-winning practice working across a variety of sectors in historic and physically challenging sites, both as new build and amendments to existing buildings. We aim to embed our buildings in their local context but to ensure it is recognised as contemporary and sustainable. By considered detailing, new ways are found to use both modern and traditional materials.
Required skills
The candidate must be an all-rounder with good design and presentation skills, have a keen interest in detail with proficiency in:
- Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and CAD (knowledge of Vectorworks is beneficial)
- digital 3D modelling and visualisations
- freehand drawing, sketching and physical model-making
- writing and grammar
Candidates must have a good command of spoken and written English and be available to work in the UK with no visa issues.
Responsibilities
The key responsibility will be in assisting project architects with current project delivery across all RIBA work stages. This will require an efficient, solid grasp of design development and project coordination.
The role will require someone to work on a number of projects simultaneously, taking a responsive and diligent approach to the work and time management, while getting on well with others in the team.
