Clay Architecture is seeking an architect/architectural assistant to join its practice in Kent, UK.
Clay Architecture are an award-winning, design-led, regional practice based in Gillingham, Kent. We work on a diverse range of projects and are passionate about delivering exceptional buildings within budget.
We are looking for a bright, self-motivated Part-II architectural assistant – with minimum one year experience, or Part-III architect to join our team. A practical mindset, eye for detail and the ability to show initiative and learn quickly will be key attributes of the successful candidate.
You will be given the opportunity to gain experience working on a wide variety of projects from conception to completion as part of a small, intimate team, and will run or help run jobs suited to your ability and experience.
You should have excellent communication and presentation skills, have a passion for design and meet the following key criteria:
- be fluent in both written and spoken English
- have a good working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp and Revit
- have a good working knowledge of Photoshop, Office and other common software
Salary negotiable depending on skills and experience. Valid driver’s license will be useful.
