Dezeen is offering a three-month internship on its Dezeen Awards team at its office in Hoxton, London.
Dezeen is offering a three-month internship on its Dezeen Awards team, to help with the next phase of this year’s awards programme and to assist with Dezeen Day.
Dezeen Awards is one of the biggest award programmes in our sector, recognising the best architecture, interiors and design projects as well as the studios and emerging designers producing the most outstanding work.
Dezeen Day is our new international architecture, interiors and design conference that will aim to set the agenda for the global design community by exploring the most pressing issues facing designers.
The successful candidate will support our in-house Dezeen Awards team by:
- researching and recording potential projects and companies to enter Dezeen Awards 2020
- responding to awards and conference-related enquiries by email and phone
- assisting with event ticket sales, as well as general admin, invoicing and logistics
- producing marketing material (including display banners and for our social media channels)
- helping with logistics for all upcoming Dezeen Awards events (master jury day and judges dinner, shortlist party and winners party) and for Dezeen Day
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, meticulous and results-driven. We want someone who is able to excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. A good knowledge of the architecture and design industry will be an advantage.
You must be able to use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. English fluency is essential.
The role would suit a recent graduate. You must also be available to work full-time for a minimum of three months at Dezeen’s London office in Hoxton, and be available to start in the next few weeks. This is a paid position.
