Part 2 architectural assistant

Nex Architecture has an opportunity for a Part 2 architectural assistant to join its firm in London.
Nex is a London-based architecture and design studio that connects people to place through inspiring buildings and spaces. We have a vacancy for an ambitious and experienced Part 2 architectural assistant to work on high-profile arts, education, leisure and commercial projects in the UK.
The successful candidate will have RIBA Part 2 or equivalent. You should value architecture that is people centred and experience focused, have a passion for material craft.
Applicants should be:
- confident 3D modelling in Rhino and Revit
- skilled in either Grasshopper or Dynamo
- proficient with Adobe CS Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- excellent visualisation and graphics skills
- good communication skills with a confident manner
- a good team player and capable of working independently
- excellent organisational and time management
Some prior professional experience at Part 1 or 2 level.

Your role will involve significant responsibilities within multiple projects and include the following activities:
- developing designs from initial stages to presentation renderings and models
- contributing to the technical development of projects and preparation of submissions
- assisting project architects with day-to-day running of projects
- working directly with clients and consultants
- undertake architectural and technical research related to ongoing projects
- contributing to the development of our team culture
- assisting with design coordination and managing consultants
- making physical models and prototypes
