A furniture studio is seeking an executive assistant to work in its showroom in southwest London to support the CEO in the smooth running of the business.
This medium-sized firm sells its furniture to leading designers and architects working on residential and hotel projects all over the world.
The studio is looking for an experienced executive assistant to work in its London office/showroom to support our CEO in the smooth running of the business. Applicants should be organised, quick at finding solutions and be able to come up with new and improved ways of doing things.
The studio need somebody who is sharp and on the ball. It is essential that they are quick at finding solutions to problems and have the initiative and foresight to come up with new and improved ways of doing things. This role would suit someone who has experience working in a small business environment.
Key responsibilities:
- maintaining existing office procedures and systems, as well as
- implementing new ones
- overseeing the sales, design and admin teams and organising weekly team meetings
- ensuring the office and showroom are running smoothly and looking immaculate at all times
- HR – maintaining personnel records and recruitment
- preparing presentations and reports in Excel/Powerpoint
- website administration
- cost control
- maintenance of IT and phone systems
- managing the office digital filing system
- general PA duties – booking travel, organising office calendar
- project management
- coordinating photoshoots, exhibitions and showroom events
- organising the printing and mailing of sales literature
- coordinating digital marketing campaigns
Key skills:
- excellent organisational and communication skills – both written and verbal

- lots of initiative and a willingness to take on any task no matter how large or small
- a strong team player
