Lead programme manager/project manager
at Design Council

The Design Council are looking for lead programme/project managers to join its architecture and built environment team in London.

Four exciting opportunities have arisen for one lead programme manager, two project managers and one project coordinator to join our expanding architecture and built environment (A&BE) team here at Design Council.

Design Council is an independent charity with a purpose to make life better by design. Our vision is a world where the role and value of design are recognised as a fundamental creator of value, enabling happier, healthier and safer lives for all.

As we approach our 75th anniversary, the A&BE team are expanding to support delivery of a range of exciting programmes. Having recently completed the new National Design Guide, we are supporting government initiatives such as Homes 2030 and the High Street Task Force, alongside our design support work for local authorities, universities and developers.

These roles will work with our unique network of expert professionals in the built environment sector to enable and inspire our clients to create and deliver better places.

These are great roles if:

architecture, planning, urban design and place-making
  • you have the ability to design programmes of support for local authorities,
    government and private sector clients
  • you have experience of engaging stakeholders in design and disseminating advice
  • you want to gain design experience working with leading UK expertise on some of the country’s most exciting projects
