Garnett & Partners has an opportunity for a job captain or junior job-runner to join its firm in London.
Garnett & Partners is an award-winning multi-skilled architectural practice founded in the early 90’s and based in Southwark, a short walk from Bankside and the Tate Modern. The practice works predominantly in the office, residential and retail sectors and provides a wide range of services including architecture, interior design and planning applications. We work on both new build and refurbishment projects, frequently in heritage environments, and our clients include leading developers, property investors and great estates.
Architect/job runner
Due to an expanding work load the practice is offering a superb opportunity for a highly motivated and recently qualified architect or experienced architectural assistant to become an integral part of our versatile team.
Our ideal candidate will be a talented all-rounder with at least two years’ UK experience sound construction, building regulations and contract administration knowledge as well as being comfortable liaising with clients and project teams.
We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic individual who is keen to take on more responsibility and advance their professional, creative and management skills.
Requirements:
- excellent presentation skills, both verbally, written and drawing
- strong technical grounding with experience working to building codes,
- practice standards and industry expectations
- a proactive and enthusiastic personality with strong interpersonal skills
