Anne Kyyrö Quinn is looking for an office/project coordinator to join its studio in London.
Anne Kyyrö Quinn design studio specialises in creating large-scale, bespoke textile acoustic art for high-end residential and commercial projects, globally.
The award-winning studio has been running for 20 years’ and occupies a very specific niche in the luxury market for customised acoustic installations working with an inventive combination of materials and techniques.
We are currently seeking an office/project coordinator who is determined with the drive and commitment needed to make our small but busy studio continue succeeding.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, confident individual, who has a friendly and professional manner. You will have relevant experience in a design-related workplace/studio and enjoy carrying out administrative tasks alongside studio management.
Responsibilities:
- being the first point of contact for all enquiries, and manage aspects of the client relationship, from enquiry, delivery and post-installation
- organising meetings and presenting to architectural and interior design clients to discuss new projects
- organising the logistics of international project installations, exhibitions and trade shows
- manage scheduling and project set-up with sub-contractors
- liaising with shipping companies and organising deliveries
- diary, project planning and management
- general management of the studio
- occasionally providing PA support to the director
- manage AKQ marketing – updating the website and managing social media platforms, particularly Instagram and design portals
Skills and experience:
- educated to degree level in a design-related subject (desirable)
- must have previous entry-level/graduate experience in a similar position, preferably in the design industry with a proven track record
- ability to think strategically and creatively
- high interest in interiors, architecture, art and design (essential)
- excellent customer service (essential)
- great presentation skills (essential)
- good communication skills, fluency in written and verbal English is essential, other languages useful
- attention to detail – we create exceptional high-end luxury pieces, all communications must reflect this
- team-player, hands-on approach, independent, flexible, confident
- excellent skills in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite
- highly organised with the ability to multi-task
- willing and able to travel if required
- the ability to work in the UK
