Ken Freivokh Design has an opportunity for a superyacht designer to join its team in Warsash, UK.
A leading yacht design studio based on the South Coast has a vacancy for an interior visualiser/designer to work on a variety of marine projects. They will need to have the ability to sketch and produce detailed accurate 2D/3D drawings of all interior aspects, with the main emphasis on high-end 3D visuals for client presentation and detailed drawings to communicate design intent to outfitters.
They will need to be able to use their own initiative and take control of a project, this will involve attending some meetings with clients and dealing with queries from outfitters. If the candidate has sufficient experience they may also be asked to travel to to supervise.
The successful candidate will have wide ranging experience working in the yacht or interior design industry and a proven track record with a portfolio demonstrating high end interior visuals. Applicants should be proficient in a range of software including AutoCAD, Rhino and preferably V-Ray/Cinema 4d.
It is also desirable for the candidate to have a base knowledge in FF&E and to show an interest in this area.
The salary will be competitive within the market. Applicants must already be eligible to live and work in the UK.
