Jason Bruges Studio has an opening for a personal/studio assistant to provide support to the creative director and managing director at its firm in London.

Jason Bruges is creative director of Jason Bruges Studio, which he founded in April 2002. He leads a pioneering team of architects, designers, creative technologists, programmers, computational designers and engineers to design and build ground-breaking installations across the world. The design studio and in-house workshop is based in London Fields, east London.
Job overview
The role of PA/studio assistant is a key position in the development of the studio and the successful candidate must be able to develop strong relationships and coordinate a broad list of tasks efficiently. This person will provide high-quality personal assistance to Jason Bruges and the managing director, as well as supporting the studio manager and business development manager in keeping the studio running smoothly.
Key responsibilities:
- manage the hectic and ever-changing diaries of the creative director and managing director
- manage and organise the busy inboxes for both
- book travel and arrange visas where necessary
- follow up with clients on new business opportunities under the direction of the business development manager, sending credentials and/or other required documents
- organise and attend CPDs and new business meetings with the creative director and business development manager, minute taking and following up afterwards
- updating CVs, biographies, studio profile
- collecting and distributing post
- maintaining database of contacts, projects and key information
- manage the flow of emails to the CD/MD, making sure inquiries and meeting requests are dealt with promptly and filed correctly
- help support the studio manager in running the studio. This could include but is not limited to ordering office supplies, setting up for meetings, organising birthdays and studio events, social media, marketing and awards entries
Required experience:
- at least two years’ previous experience as a PA
- experience within a busy creative environment
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- excellent organisational skills and multi-tasking
- ability to be flexible while keeping a positive and upbeat attitude
- Mac/PC, MS Office, mail
Preferred skills:
- InDesign, Keynote, Photoshop
- great sense of humour
