The Invisible Party is looking for an interior designer to join its Amsterdam office.

The Invisible Party is a boutique design studio in Amsterdam creating brand design for the hospitality and retail industry on an international scale. We design holistic brand experiences. From interior design, to graphics and identities, from developing products and textiles, to curating art installations and styling: we focus on every detail.
As our interior designer you will be an integral part of our team. You will work closely with the creative director on different projects and translate our concepts into finalised designs.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- actively participate with the design team in creating: concepts, drawings, models, materials, space planning, FF&E, lighting and other documents relating to the design and presentation
- check the general arrangement plans and designs related to the interior
- prepare initial sketches for the senior interior designer/ design manager and client to approve
- offer input to creative meetings and share ideas related to pitch work and concept design
- developing conceptual designs into buildable solutions and 3D detail design
- prepare detailed technical drawings, designs, plans, models and schemes
- develop engaging presentations for clients
- collaborate with team members to promote an inter-disciplinary design approach and philosophy
- source products, e.g. fittings, furniture, lighting and finishes and provide samples for clients
Qualifications and experience:
- minimum three years experience
- master’s degree within the field of interior design
- inspiring aesthetic and a great eye for detail
- affinity for technical approaches and solutions
- ability to work independently in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
- a good understanding of FF&E, materials, and overall design
- preferably having worked with a reputable or international design company
- capable and confident to switch between projects and tasks
- experienced in the use of Adobe’s Creative Suite and Vectorworks (2D and 3D)
- experienced in working in a Mac environment
- experienced in working with brands
- conceptual thinker
- fast learner
- team player
- fluent in English, spoken and written
- living in Amsterdam and in possession of an EU work permit
