Weston Williamson + Partners is hiring a Bentley CAD and BIM coordinator to join its team in London.
Weston Williamson + Partners (WW+P) is an architectural and urban design practice that specialises in transport infrastructure and related urban design projects. Geographically, WW+P works both in the UK and overseas with studios in London, Manchester, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Toronto.
We are looking for an experienced technician for the role of Bentley CAD and BIM coordinator to strengthen our team. You will be working alongside fellow Bentley CAD and BIM coordinators under the leadership of the design technology manager.
Core responsibilities:
- prepare project start-ups in CAD and BIM and BIM execution plans
- provide induction, training and support to project teams
- provide technical support for project teams in relation to project standards, workflows and process requirements
- monitor, review and audit quality control to ensure compliance to CAD and BIM standards
- CAD and BIM production on project work
- interface with other disciplines and client teams in relation to CAD and BIM
Qualities and skills required:
- advanced technical skills in Bentley Microstation, Aecosim and Projectwise
- ability to set up projects to standards and monitor compliance
- proficiency in delivering CAD and BIM using Bentley products
- strong working knowledge of current UK BIM standards
Experience:
- At least five years working in an architectural or engineering production environment
- At least five years working on BIM Projects in a CAD and BIM coordination/management role
- At least five years delivering CAD and BIM in Bentley products
- experience in implementing practice-wide CAD and BIM process adoption
Salary: based on experience.
