L:a Bruket is recruiting a visual merchandiser to join its team in East London.
The Swedish skincare brand L:a Bruket is looking for a freelance visual merchandiser to work on a variety of retail projects from their creative satellite studio located East London. The role will provide a great opportunity for someone to work on a high frequency of high-profile projects with a growing international team. Working closely with the interior architect and creative director you will structure and oversee VM guidelines for a global network of retailers, while developing a variety of brand store, pop-up and shop-in-shop projects, from concept to completion
Initially the role will involve working four days per week using the satellite studio as a base, with some flexibility to work remotely or from our Swedish west coast and Parisian offices.
The applicants should:
- ideally have two years’ relevant experience, ideally within the beauty or cosmetics sector, or MA level qualifications
- ideally have experience or a background in architecture, spatial or retail design
- have excellent design and presentation skills with an eye for texture, colour and detail
- have a good understanding of contemporary design, art and culture
- have an aptitude for both hands-on and digital design methods
- be comfortable moving between sketches, planograms and mock-ups to visualisation software/Adobe Suite to final prototypes
- be willing to work autonomously
- be fluent in English
