Catherine Wilman Interiors is seeking a junior interior designer to join its team in London.
Catherine Wilman Interiors is seeking a junior interior designer to join our team in Notting Hill, west London.
Working for our boutique interior practice will be fun and we have some fantastic projects in the pipeline. To join us you will need to be a talented team player and trained to degree level in interior design.
Ideally, you will have at least one year’s experience working on high-end residential projects.
You will have strong interior architect skills, some on-site experience and be confident dealing face-to-face with clients.
A portfolio that also shows a flair for FF&E design/schemes is a bonus. Applicants need to be London-based or live within a short commute.
This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- create highly detailed technical designs for residential projects
- meet with clients in order to understand project objectives
- prepare presentations (3D, 2D,mock-ups and renderings)
- FF&E specification
- create quotes and ensure full workflow is followed.
- communicate effectively with clients, suppliers and the design team
- compile costings using Estimac software
- maintain industry knowledge in order to stay relevant
Qualifications:
- bachelor’s degree
- proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Excel
- strong creative and communication skills
- fluent in both written and spoken English
- must be UK-based, ideally living in or near London
