US sales representative
at Dezeen
Dezeen is looking for a US sales representative to join its team remotely.
Dezeen is the world’s most popular and influential architecture and design magazine, with a readership of over three million monthly users.
The US sales representative will report to Dezeen’s head of sales and business development Margot Stokes.
Duties will include:
- driving US revenue growth across display banner advertising, editorial, social media, video and talks channels
- promoting new services and initiatives such as Dezeen Showroom and Dezeen 15 Festival
- building and strengthening client relationships in the US market
- generating and converting quality sales leads across design, luxury and lifestyle brands
- pitching to and securing new client briefs, and work with our in-house
- content teams to propose attractive and innovative campaign packages
- researching and keeping updated with industry trends and new product developments in the US
The ideal candidate will have extensive brand and marketing contacts in the US, and be results driven and comfortable working to ambitious sales targets.
We want someone with a strong work ethic and exudes confidence.
You should have at least two years’ experience in sales (preferably in digital media sales) and a proven track record of sales achievements and client relationship management. A high standard of written and spoken English is also essential.
We are looking for a candidate based in the USA but would be open to applications from candidates based elsewhere. Due to the current coronavirus pandemic, the role will initially require a significant amount of remote working. We would also be willing to consider permanent remote working for the right candidate.
