Interior designer

Milc Interiors is seeking an experienced interior designer to join its London team.
The role: interior designer
The role would ideally suit a designer with at least four years’ of experience and will be responsible for managing their own projects, designing and delivering furnishing schemes from inception through to installation.
The Interior designer must have software experience in AutoCAD, InDesign and Photoshop. They must also be highly organised and have exceptional attention to detail. They should be a confident team player, with excellent communication skills for both internal and client related matters.
Requirements:
- degree or equivalent in interior design
- personable, with a passion for interiors
- to be proficient at Excel, AutoCAD, Photoshop and InDesign
- 3D modelling and hand sketching abilities also preferable, eg SketchUp
- confident with mood boards and digital presentations
- competent administration and organisational skills
- team player attitude with excellent English verbal and written communication skills for both internal and client related matters
- outstanding attention to detail.
- full UK driving licence preferred.
Duties and detail:
- liaise with clients and maintain relationships
- to work directly with the directors and line managers to drive the company forward
- lead by complete example within the design team
- liaise with clients and maintain relationships moving forward
- liaise with internal business development team members and maintain relationships moving forward
- to attend site visits for spatial planning
- produce design concepts, proposals, mood boards and estimates and follow through the design process to fruition
- source products efficiently and within company guidelines
- source new suppliers and contractors whenever required
- to lead installation teams on site effectively and efficiently, whilst still building relationships with team members
- style and dress projects to a detailed show home standard
- project administration and management in line with the studio processes
- attend trade shows as and when required
- help mentor the team with any relevant training and creative direction required
