at Up Architects
Up Architects is looking for a recently qualified architect to join its studio in London.
We are a small collaborative studio of architects and designers and are looking to expand the team. We work primarily on small and medium sized private residential projects as well as some commercial projects and the occasional competition.
We are looking for someone creative and design focused, preferably with one or two years’ post-Part 3 experience working in a London practice and who is willing to be involved with all aspects of a project from client management to coordinating with consultants and contractors. If you have good presentation skills, a good understanding of construction and detailing, and most importantly a commitment to doing things diligently and properly, whatever the task in hand, then please apply. We pride ourselves on producing beautiful work and so a love of buildings and how they are put together is essential.
The requirements we are looking for are:
- proficiency in Vectorworks, Adobe Suite, and all Mac based software
- fluent in written and spoken English, with good grammar and spelling
- must care about design and ideally have ethical and environmental concerns
- be fun, interesting and easy to work with, and have a good sense of humour
For the successful applicant we offer a salary dependent on experience but this can rise quickly with an increased responsibility for running projects.
