Deborah Berke Partners is seeking senior professionals to join its team in New York.

Deborah Berke Partners is an architecture and interior design practice that for over thirty years has made true-to-place projects around the country and the world. Over time, we have built a wide range of experience in projects for colleges and universities, cultural institutions, private residences, boutique hotels, office and multifamily developments, and buildings for mission-driven clients. The firm provides a full range of services, from master planning to architecture and interior design.

Deborah Berke Partners is seeking two senior professional candidates with extensive experience in the design phases on: medium-to-large scale, complex institutional or science/technology projects; and residential and interior architecture projects.

Requirements:

  • eight to thirteen years of design or technical and project management experience at an architecture firm
  • professional degree in architecture; licensure preferred but not required
  • demonstrated excellence in an area of design or project delivery
  • excellent graphic, communication, and organizational skills
  • good interpersonal skills, thrives in a collaborative environment and understands the importance of supporting design team members
  • is active in the formulation and execution of corporate strategy
  • provides leadership in office activities
  • ability to plan time and resources necessary to balance tight project deadlines
  • detail-oriented, accurate, and hands-on
  • pro-active, self-disciplined, and confident in a fast-paced working environment
  • emonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel); familiarity with Rhino and Affinity desired
  • possess all legal permits and visas required to work in the U.S.
  • fluency in written and spoken English
