Capacity London is seeking architectural assistants to join its team in Crete, Seville and Sicily.
Our Erasmus+ programme
Capacity London is offering three-months fully funded Erasmus+ work placements in:
- Rethymno, Crete (Greece)
- Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto & Catania, Sicily (Italy)
- Seville, Spain
This is open to anyone seeking a unique, beneficial and once in a lifetime learning opportunity abroad. This is for a late April 2021 start, on or around 24 April (depending on COVID-19 Measures).
Role description
Capacity London is a community-based training provider offering high-quality training and work experience that provides our participants with learning and employment opportunities. The participant will carry out a 13-week internship in a range of roles (see below for more details).

Roles available with either Level 3 certificate in entrepreneurship for European creative industries or Level 4 award in digital marketing and entrepreneurship vocational courses.

What Capacity London offers
In order to support you during your work placement Capacity London will provide you with the following:
- €120 per week subsistence allowance
- a qualification in digital marketing or entrepreneurship in the creative industries
- shared accommodation (own bedroom, shared living spaces such as kitchen, bathroom and living room)
- language tuition
- flights to and from your destination (including airport transfers on arrival in your host city)
- travel medical insurance for the duration of your stay
- ongoing support and local pastoral care for the duration of your stay
Vocational training course
As part of our Erasmus+ programme, all our participants are enrolled in a vocational training course in digital marketing or entrepreneurship in the creative industries.
Lectures and guided group work will take place on Friday mornings or afternoons for several hours (you do not work Fridays in your internship). The course will consist of several assignments and examinations that will be submitted throughout the three-month placement.
How to apply
Before applying please ensure you have read the following key requirements:
- to be eligible applicants must be currently residing within the United Kingdom, have a UK postal address and bank account, and must have the right to live and work in the UK and the destination country
- students are not eligible – we are unable to accept applications from individuals looking for ‘year in industry’ placements
- placements are for fixed periods of 90 days (13 weeks) and it is a requirement that you spend the full period in your destination country. The start date (flight out to Host Country) will be on or around 24 April 2021 (return flight to the UK 92 days from the date of departure
- there will be several online sessions of preparatory training that will be done remotely (one to three hours each) before our participants fly out. At these preparatory training sessions, you will receive information on the programme, meet your lecturers, other participants and start your vocational course. Attendance at these preparatory training sessions is compulsory
- applications are only being accepted for April round 2021
- very important – you must fill out our Capacity London application to apply
- if you don’t fill out a form you will not be considered. After you fill out the form you will need to send us an updated CV and portfolio (with your own name and surname in the file name)
Interviews are completed on a rolling basis until all positions are filled. You are advised to submit your application early!
