Allies and Morrison is seeking a communications coordinator to join its team in London.

Allies and Morrison is looking for a communications professional to join our busy team in London.
Reporting to the communications director and sitting within our submissions and communications team, you will support the practice’s external and internal communications across a range of activities.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- press relations: monitoring of the practice’s press inbox and fielding media and imagery requests. Supporting the communications director on media outreach, the distribution of press releases and press pitches. Maintain a record of the practice’s press coverage
- events: support a busy programme of studio events, including talks and exhibitions held in the studio as well as an ongoing programme of virtual events during the pandemic
- social media, website and intranet: monitor, upload and generate content for social media feeds and maintain regular updates to the website and intranet
- award submissions and lectures: support the programme of these submissions across the practice
We’re looking for someone proactive and well-rounded. You must be adept in Adobe creative suite and comfortable using online tools such as WordPress and social media. Experience with photography and videography would be beneficial as well, as would the ability to write well. A keen visual sense is essential.
We want to interview candidates who know our work and are interested in our approach. The role would suit a creative professional with an interest in architecture or urbanism. We are especially interested in candidates who have either worked in a similar capacity at an architectural or creative business or have had training in either architecture, history of architecture or urban planning. The role may also suit someone interested in curation or journalism.
We are based in our own purpose-built design studios in Bankside, London and have studios in Cambridge, Dublin, Liverpool and Manchester. We are an equal opportunities employer.
