Roger Coy Partnership is looking for a senior architectural technician to join its team in Northamptonshire, UK.
The Roger Coy Partnership is a multi-disciplinary RIBA chartered practice with a highly-skilled team of technologists, planners, surveyors, and chartered architects in Northampton; The Roger Coy Partnership specialises in high-end residential and commercial projects and has an excellent reputation for working with clients to achieve creative solutions across a broad range of sectors.
The office is based in an idyllic rural location in the Northamptonshire countryside.
We currently have a project opportunity for a technical architect, technologist or architect to join our team currently working on buildings through all RIBA work stages. The projects are primarily high end, private, bespoke residential one off homes, barn conversions, work to listed buildings and restoration works.
The successful candidate will have proven construction and technical design skills and at least five years’ experience within the UK construction sector.
The position will require both individual and teamwork, working under the direction of a project leader as well as the ability to work on their own initiative, working on multiple projects at once, from our office in Northamptonshire, with occasional home working.
Requirements:
- AutoCAD essential
- SketchUp, InDesign, Adobe Suite beneficial
- ability to work through all RIBA work stages
- understanding of UK design codes, statutory and best-practice technical standards essential
- good communication and client facing skills
- specialism in both the new build and existing residential sector
- self-motivated
- ability to work autonomously
- must have a full UK driving license and the use of a car
