guò bàn ér has an opportunity for an architecture intern to join its team in Beijing.
At guò bàn ér – 过半儿 we are looking for architecture and interior design students or recent graduates to join our Beijing studio. Internships last a period of 6-12 months. You will receive a monthly stipend. We don’t really look at where you studied, though we are looking for a killer portfolio. We are a new studio where you will become part of a network of informal, personal connections and cross-over opportunities that positively inform our casual company structure. Successful candidates receive a monthly stipend. Teaching will be our contribution to broadening your outlook. Job description
We focus passionately on the issues of renewal and making. You will contribute to the work of architects and directors centered on revitalisation and the transformation of existing buildings. You will support the design work, delivery, and execution of these projects.
Your profile:
- enrolment in a degree program for architecture, interior design
- proficient in Auto Cad and SketchUp
- keen sense of aesthetics and solid design skills
- good knowledge of Adobe Suite
- commitment to a shared outcome
- dependability and esprit de corps
- bilingual in Chinese and English
