Job description
Patrick McGrath Design is seeking a studio intern to help with our high-end residential projects for the Summer. This is a part-time position (four days per week) and paid, with the opportunity to turn into a full time position in the Fall. The candidates must be energetic, detail-oriented and able to work well independently.
The position will involve:
- assist with renderings, drawings, orders and coordination
- assist in sourcing design elements
- assist in client presentations
- assist in preparation of proposals and estimates
- track and follow up with vendors and fabricators
- general studio tasks
Requirements:
- three to five years’ experience in interiors
- must have strong Rhino or Sketchup rendering skills
- proficiency in Photoshop and Autocad
- experience with studio designer is a plus
