Architectural assistant
at Square One Architects
Square One Architects is seeking a freelance Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in southwest London.
Square One Architects is an established, residential practice with projects across southwest London.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shadow the practice director and work on all stages of the design process, from initial concepts to completion. The nature of our work allows to see a project finished in a relatively short amount of time, making this an ideal opportunity for candidates aiming to prepare for their Part 3.
The ideal candidate will have:
- excellent design skills
- clear visual and verbal communication
- capacity to work remotely and independent time management and organisational skills
- demonstrable experience of RIBA workstages 2-4
- ability to work efficiently, and to multi-task on a number of projects
- fluent in written and spoken English
- proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite (in particular Photoshop and InDesign)
- ability to travel to our office in Hampton, southwest London and surrounding areas
