Middleweight interior designer
at Intérieur London
Interieur London is looking for a middleweight interior designer to join its expanding studio in Shoreditch, London.
Interieur London has been at the forefront of luxury residential interior design in London and internationally for over ten years. We work in all design sectors including hospitality, mixed-use, commercial as well as luxury residential projects working for a mixture of developers and high net worth private clients and have a wide range of projects in the studio.
We have recently secured several high-end projects we are looking for a designer with all round experience to join our team who should have a minimum two years’ experience working in a similar design studio.
Qualifications and requirements:
- must have a degree in interior design, design, architecture or equivalent recognised qualification
- must be proficient in CAD Vectorworks, and have a good understanding of detailing and construction
- proficient in MS Office applications
- proficient in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop and producing client presentations
- must be used to working to deadlines
- must be confident, well-spoken and with excellent communication skills
- confident in producing FF&E schemes and sourcing materials and dealing with suppliers
- have experience in scheduling and costing using EstiPC as well as ordering and chasing suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time
- confident designing and running their own projects under the direction of the senior team
The successful candidate:
- will report to the senior team and will work on more than one project producing design concepts, drawings packages, specifications as well as design presentations and will be involved in all stages of the project
- would be required to attend site during installation of projects, to aid with project management and coordination of subcontractors and suppliers
