We are looking for a mid-weight interior architect with five years’ experience in luxury residential or hospitality design. The ideal candidate will be extremely organised, passionate about design with a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

  • work creatively across all areas from conceptual design through to technical detailing and approval of supplier shop drawings
  • develop and produce detailed interior architectural drawings such as floor plans and elevations, detailed tender packs for joinery, marble, bespoke lighting and furniture
  • produce design development packages including drawings, schedules, and specifications
  • liaise with our on-site team and contractors to ensure efficient flow of technical design information to site
  • review and sign off workshop drawings with the overview of the lead designer
  • coordinate and issue design information to the wider design team including architects, engineers, and suppliers
  • actively seeking and sharing inspiration and references from a wide range of sources outside of the business, to support creative design solutions
  • attend site to review construction details, and oversee the installation of our designs on both private client and development projects
  • create detailed snag lists and manage the follow-up process

Required skills:

  • excellent design skills and ability to convey design ideas
  • a meticulous eye for detail and a good understanding of the technical side of interior design
  • excellent communication skills both verbal and written with a confident manner, client-facing experience is preferred
  • strong team player and ability to perform many tasks across the design process from concept development, through to design management and detailing
  • great project management skills – the ability to manage multiple tasks across various projects
  • software skills: Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, Sketchup
  • experience of the following would also be an advantage: 3DS Max, Vray, Corona

Required experience:

  • a minimum of five years’ experience in the role of an interior designer or interior architect, with extensive creative competence working on luxury high-end residential, marine or hospitality schemes
