Club coordinator – front of house/receptionist
at Design District
Design District is seeking a club coordinator (front of house/receptionist) to join its team in London.
You have the natural ability to deliver an amazing service and exceptional hospitality while ensuring the smooth operation of the Club’s reception areas and floors, in line with our high standards.

Bureau, at Greenwich Peninsula, is housed across two landmark Design District buildings, it provides its members with design-centric workspaces — including hot desks, studios and lounges — as well as meeting rooms, community events, a restaurant, and the best in hospitality. Bringing creative people together — sparking ideas and forging connections. This is a new approach to working life, prioritising not just space to think and do, but shared knowledge, chance encounters and wellbeing.
You will support the club members and its manager in growing a happy and engaged membership community, by assisting club members, guests and clients with any requests or inquiries regarding membership, bookings, payments, and all the amazing facilities.
It’s your responsibility to provide a consistent, reliable, and approachable service and as you are a proud promoter of the club helping to leverage membership sales through meaningful interactions and engaged sales tours.

- maintain a passion for service and hospitality whilst hosting busy, high volume and varied reception areas
- build amazing relationships with everyone – members, customers, potential customers, industry professionals, business partners, colleagues. You must love working with a wide and diverse range of people to do this role well
- welcome members with genuine warmth, assist with a generous attitude when leading induction tours
- handle enquiries on Bureau membership plans, Design District and Bureau facilities and services with efficiency
- respond to complaints and issues promptly, with a flexible, efficient, and sympathetic approach
- become a master in our management systems (Nexudus) and make best use of its tools and features to create a productive and efficient work routine
- manage Bureau’s main email inbox and ensure that emails are replied promptly, and the information provided is precise, complete, and polite
- management of stock control and order supplies, shop stationery and merchandise goods, and items for clients
Essential skills and attributes required to deliver in this exciting role:
- two plus years’ proven experience in hotel reception, membership club, co- working space or similar
- experience in using hospitality management software (ideally Nexudus)
- strong verbal and written communicator, accurate written work and able to adapt style to reflect suitable tone of voice alongside excellent use of grammar
- role requires a great deal of mobility using stairs across the club’s buildings and its seven floors
- flexible approach to the days and hours worked
- proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) is a given
The role is new and like the Peninsula itself, the club is in its infancy and will require flexibility of approach, dedication, and determination.
