Part 2 architectural assistant/newly qualified architect
at Stanesby Architecture

Stanesby Architecture is looking for a RIBA Part 2 architectural assistant or newly qualified architect to join its expanding London-based practice.

We are looking for dynamic and talented assistant architects to work with us on design led projects. The smaller nature of our practice means that successful candidates will have a broad involvement in all project phases and will benefit from the optimum environment to learn.

You will have a minimum of one year UK experience and good knowledge of UK building regulations. You will be expected to demonstrate experience in design and construction and a keen interest in working with existing and Listed buildings.  Previous on-site experience would be a benefit but is not essential.

The role will include both design and operational tasks, and we are looking for candidates with a high level of:

  • confidence with good communication and presentation skills
  • self-motivation and organisational capability
  • CAD and IT skill (proficient in Vectorworks /SketchUp/Adobe Suite)
  • ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
  • ability to complete tasks with accuracy and with exemplary attention to detail

In addition, applicants must have:

fluency in both written and spoken English

proof of eligibility to work in the UK
