Role summary

Louise Bradley Design Studio is looking to recruit an experienced Senior FF&E Designer to assist in the creative design process and project management to ensure the Louise Bradley brand is communicated in each project, to the exacting standards set by Louise Bradley and expected by our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • to take responsibility for all stages of projects; from taking the initial client brief, preparing FF&E schemes, presenting concepts, specifications and costings
  • to manage the manufacturing of bespoke designs and coordinate with suppliers and our in house procurement team for receipt into Warehouse in line with schedules
  • knowledge of interior architecture with the ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • to mentor junior members of the FF&E team through the design process, including providing creative expertise and direction for all FF&E designers at all levels
  • to work with the 3D visual team, ensuring creative concepts and deadlines are met within the Louise Bradley standard
  • to monitor and supervise the FF&E team meetings, including team planning and delegation of project and duties
  • to work with senior team and studio coordinator to implement and monitor project deadlines and budgets
  • to assist in the management of site installations, alongside the team to ensure that the finished project is in line with the LB standard
  • to work with the purchasing manager in relation to quality control for new and existing suppliers
  • to work with the studio coordinator in overseeing the Estimac software is running smoothly and ensure that training programmes are set up for new starters
  • to distribute, monitor and supervise the preparation of design documentation by all FF&E designers, contributing to the written standards and control procedures
  • to motivate and mentor junior designers, assisting in their development and understanding of the LB philosophy and design style
  • to work with designers on product development, including extending the FF&E library of fabrics and finishes, to keep the Louise Bradley brand at the forefront of design
