Yoko Kloeden Design is seeking a mid-weight to senior interior architect to join its team in London.
Yoko Kloeden Design is looking for a mid-weight to senior interior architect to lead our projects from full design development, presenting to clients and overseeing building works through to completion.
The candidate must have at least five years’ experience working in high-end residential projects in London with a proven track-record of designing and managing projects on time, working to a budget.

Yoko Kloeden Design is a rapidly growing interior design studio based in St Margarets, London. We are dedicated to creating restful, evocative homes inspired by a deep reverence for nature. Our clients are mainly corporate executives and business owners working in or relocating to London.
We are a small team of five and aspire to be a leading design studio blurring the indoor/outdoor boundary.
You will play a pivotal role of taking over the project leadership from the creative director and drive to establish the studio’s design reputation.
Job title: mid-weight or senior interior architect
Salary: contract – full time, based on experience
Location: St Margarets, London. Flexibility to work from home. Greater London-based candidates only.
Start date: 1 September 2021 (negotiable)
Job description:
- act as a project leader on the studio’s design project, fully develop design, oversee building works and see through to fruition
- check that thorough administrative records are being maintained
- develop concepts and detailed design and present them to clients
- source and specify hard finishes and FF&Es in line with brief and budget
- ensure that accurate technical drawings and FF&E design are being produced to form a design package
- ensure the team successfully delivers projects from concept to completion on time and budget and to the highest standard
- ensure that building stages are being executed as per the design package
- develop and build successful relationships with external professionals and suppliers

Skills required:
- relevant interior architecture qualification
- extremely proficient in AutoCAD a must and proficient in SketchUp a plus
- proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
- excellent time management a must
Education and experience:
- five plus years experience working in London high-end residential projects a must
- proven track record of designing and managing projects with limited direction
- ability to interface with clients interpreting and delivering their requirements
- excellent knowledge of joinery and construction detailing
- experience of producing design packages, schedules and specifications for high-end residential projects
- on site experience with project supervision and contract administration
