And Objects is seeking an accountant to join its team in London.
Job description
And Objects has a vacancy for an ambitious and talented accountant with retail experience. The accountant will report to the COO and creative director to ensure And Objects finances are complete and accurate. The ideal candidate will also have experience with retail logistics, inventory management, and must be able to use their expertise to establish financial procedures and systems in a start-up environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- reporting monthly management accounts
- filing annual statutory accounts
- controlling cashflow
- reconciling bank accounts and credit card statements
- issuing purchase orders
- processing invoices
- maintaining a product price database
- tracking inventory
- setting up delivery schedules and managing all deliveries
- maintaining returns process and obtaining credits from suppliers
- reconciling cash receipts against orders
- supervising procurement of goods from the supplier network
- managing client expectations
Experience:
- a retail background is essential, but the ideal candidate will have experience in both finance and retail logistics
