Part 2 architectural assistant and visualiser

VOP Group is hiring a Part 2 architectural assistant and visualiser to join its team in London.
VOP Group is an architecture practice that designs beautiful places, and sustainable homes where people really want to live. We are based in SE1, and currently working in a blended pattern of studio and home-working.
We are looking for proactive and enthusiastic Part 2 architectural assistant with strong design and visualisation skills to join our growing team.
We work alongside private and public developers, local authorities and housing associations on new and repurposed buildings. The studio prides itself on listening to our client’s vision and then marrying this with our values, to create sustainable robust homes whether new or adapted. Our main objective is to craft long-lasting, beautiful homes and places that benefit the planet, our clients and the wider community. Happy places, happy people and a happy planet.
You will be given the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of projects, across several work stages. You will also attend site visits and meetings, as well as being a full part of a design and project management team, enabling you to hopefully grow your long-term career with us. Requirements:
- excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- team player attitude
- aesthetic sensibilities and good design skills
- outstanding knowledge of 3D modelling in SketchUp
- good knowledge of rendering software – preferably V-Ray
- good knowledge of 2D CAD software – preferably Vectorworks
- previous practice experience
