Part 1 architectural assistant
at TMV Architects
TMV Architects is looking for a Part 1 architectural assistant to join its team in Peterborough, UK.
Founded by Thomas Mann and Marcus Vanner in 2009. TMV are a team of architects based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. We create imaginative and meticulous work for a diverse range of clients, from residential to education to healthcare. Following a significant year of growth, we are looking for an adaptable, enthusiastic and ambitious candidate who can support us through this exciting period and beyond.
This candidate will ideally demonstrate the following:
- experience of working for a UK architectural practice
- proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
- confidence in both written and verbal communication with colleagues and clients alike
- strong visual presentation skills
- minimum 2:1 degree and have completed Part 1 in a UK-based recognised school of architecture
Whilst all the above are preferential, TMV place a great amount of importance on an individual’s particular talent and skill set. We therefore require a portfolio alongside a CV, which specifically demonstrates what you can bring to the practice. If successful, you will then be invited to an interview with the directors. It is just as important to us that you fit in well with the team and therefore, the interview is a crucial element of the employment process. This is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about us!
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept international students. Therefore, the role is only available to UK/EU/EEA nationals or those that have lived and have had a right to work in the UK for three years or more. The salary will also be inline with the RIBA benchmark.
