Workshop designs and produces engaging events that communicate a brand’s message. We build experiences that create compelling content, heighten brand loyalty and influence purchase behavior.

Position
We seek a designer with the same values to be a creative voice on our team and design compelling events from full-scale environments and sets to the key touchpoints of gracious hospitality and entertaining.
Senior positions available based on experience.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the designer will be to contribute to the success of the company by generating intensely creative, idea-based solutions to clients’ needs and devising strategies for their successful and cost-effective implementation.
Day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- develop creative solutions to clients’ needs and communicate these solutions in beautiful visual proposals and supporting materials for clients
- interpret clients’ requirements and define the aesthetic framework for each project with event team members
- formulate and oversee execution strategies to ensure feasibility and the highest standards of quality, workmanship, and creativity
- work with project managers to research, source and create event design elements
- design event concepts and presentations to attract new clientele
- actively explore and stay current on like-minded industries including architecture, fashion, design, etc.
Required qualifiactions/skills:
- visionary, energetic, flexible and enjoys working hands-on, with proven design expertise
- dependable and creative problem solver who takes initiative and can positively motivate a team by example
- skilled in graphic design, including programs such as InDesign, Illustrator or Photoshop
- ability to develop floorplans and site plans in AutoCAD
- talent for creating beautiful, evocative design concepts in PowerPoint and/or Keynote that communicate both the spirit and details of an event
- skilled in 3D illustration and rendering programs
- ability to free-hand sketch designs and details
- video editing skills a plus
- interiors and prop styling a plus
- ability to handle long hours and hard work
- possess strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize multiple large-scale projects with changing deadlines
- accomplished several years in the events industry or an alternative related field
- previous experience in special events, floral design, interior or architectural design, entertainment or theater set design is a plus
