Position responsibilities:

  • leads with the preparation of proposals, brochures, presentations, web materials and other marketing collateral for various functional and geographic markets
  • prepares all aspects of proposals, qualifications, presentations, brochures and submissions
  • coordinates with local communications, marketing and business development colleagues
  • coordinates initiatives and best practices with other marketing team members firm-wide
  • effectively understands and promotes the SOM project portfolio
  • works closely with the senior marketing  manager, senior business development manager, firmwide graphic design manager and office leadership on various marketing efforts
  • conducts research on potential clients, leads and projects
  • monitors OJEU and selected industry publications for procurement notices and competitions announcements in alignment with business plan
  • communicates and writes with skill and creativity about SOM’s designs
  • works closely with the senior marketing manager, senior business development manager, Firmwide
  • graphic design manager and office leadership on various marketing and BD efforts
  • implements and contributes to marketing strategy, under the direction of others
  • assists with administrative or other tasks and responsibilities as may be required
  • helps to maintain salesforce records with up-to-date information on new leads, contacts and activities

Minimum qualifications:

  • must be an organised professional who is motivated, owns their work, curious, and passionate about architectural design to undertake marketing, business development, and proposal preparation
  • undergraduate degree level or equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities
  • strong critical writing skills
  • excellent graphic design skills
  • command of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign
  • outstanding eye for design and presentation
  • strong project management, communication and people skills
  • experience in marketing or business development within the A/E/C industry
  • fluency in English required; ability to work in Spanish, Italian, German or Russian preferred
  • experience using Salesforce or other CRM system preferred
  • experience of Google Workplace including Google Slides
  • experience of working across a broad range of market sectors
