Senior architect, architect and technicians

Ridge and Partners is seeking architecture staff to join its team in Bristol.

This is a great time to join our team as we enter a period of expansion following several successful bids. As the demand for our expertise continues to grow, we now have exciting opportunities from technicians to senior architects. You will join our experienced and growing architectural team in Bristol working on projects that include commercial refurbishments, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, education, R&D projects and residential housing.
Role and responsibilities:
- carry out feasibility studies and design proposals for review
- cooperate with other members of the design team and coordinate their output
- ensure design proposals conform to the latest building regulations and technical standards
- providing a practical and methodical approach to solving problems, working to fixed budgets and working within deadlines
- inspection of building work on site
- ability to work autonomously and contribute to the team, designing and delivering projects with minimal supervision
Experience and skills required:
- leadership skills; a strong team player capable of leading multidisciplinary design teams
- excellent design and technical skills – Revit experience is essential
- proactive communicator, able to express ideas effectively, orally, graphically and in writing
- creative and practical, passionate about integrated design
- commitment to sustainable design and UK best practice
- relevant sector experience and work in practice.
