Wright & Wright Architects is seeking a talented architect to join its practice in London.
The office is currently working on projects for St John’s College, St Edmund Hall and Oriel College Oxford, The British Academy and Lambeth Palace.
We are looking for someone with experience and commitment to quality of design and detailing but the most important factor is that they fit with our office ethos. The practice is a friendly, cooperative environment and we do not work long hours generally. We have a profit share scheme and pre Covid provided office lunches, which we hope to reinstate soon.
The successful candidate will demonstrate an understanding of and empathy with our design approach. They will be able to work as part of a team but also with self-direction and initiative, displaying a strong commitment to the job and a willingness to go the extra mile when necessary.
The following attributes are required:
- exceptional technical experience and CAD skills
- excellent communicator and ability to work within a team
- talented designer
- excellent knowledge of construction and detailing
