Sustainability champion

WilkinsonEyre is seeking a sustainability champion to join its team in London.
WilkinsonEyre are expanding their sustainability team to support the design output of the practice and ensure good environmental design leads all that we do. This is a dynamic, pivotal role that would suit a charismatic individual with strong visual and communication skills, who will audit and encourage innovation in sustainable architecture and excellence in design and provide clear and consistent thought leadership.
While we have some flexibility about the background and level of experience that is demanded.
We envisage the ideal candidate will have the following:
- a postgraduate qualification in environmental design or equivalent experience should be demonstrated
- a good working knowledge of UK environmental design standards
- a good understanding of computational design and environmental simulation processes
- a postgraduate qualification in architecture and experience in architectural practice (preferred but not essential)
- knowledge of embodied carbon process and use of 1 Click LCA (preferred but not essential)
- strong parametric skills: Rhino, Grasshopper, Ladybug, Honeybee
Based in London and working primarily on UK projects the role will also involve design review of our international portfolio of project work and liaison with our offices in Hong Kong, Sydney, and Paris.
Full or part-time positions considered for the right candidate.
