About the role
Established & Sons is looking for a resourceful and dynamic sales manager. The remit of the role is to effectively manage a portfolio of diverse customers, clients, and partner relationships to grow and deliver revenues and best in class relationship management. This is an excellent role to build on your existing sales development/account management experience within the design industry. Experience of UK/European markets is required whilst experience or exposure in other global markets is a significant benefit.
Main responsibilities
- lead customer relationship and account management with existing partners
- seek and identify opportunities to develop, service and grow with new sales channel/partner opportunities within defined markets
- support the head of sales in delivering the commercial strategy and business planning goals
- effectively manage sales pipeline ensuring that other areas of the business can support your delivery of commitments
- maintain and build on existing knowledge of market trends within your geographical regions, building on our market share
- develop joint business plans (JBP) for major partnerships to promote sustained growth and retention, delivering budget within these key relationships
- be an authentic brand advocate who is capable of delivering on, and promoting our brand values and beliefs
Skills and requirements
- strong analytical skills; sound proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- excellent account management and client relationship management skills – detail orientated with a client / partner first approach
- excellent negotiation skills with a personable approach and demeanour
- ability to work effectively under pressure during key trading periods, meeting deadlines and putting our partners at the forefront of your delivery
- excellent English communication skills – both written and oral
- additional European language skills highly beneficial
- minimum three plus years’ of sales/client relationship management experience across B2B, wholesale, and retail distribution in a role of similar stature and complexity
- experience within the design, creative or furniture industries and/or passion for design is essential
