If so, this could be the role for you. We are now looking for a senior windows project manager to join our brand and communication team. Although this role sits within our creative windows team, this role would ideally suit someone that is interested in logistics, project management and negotiations. We welcome applications from candidates that have experience in one or more of these areas. It is not essential for you to have previous experience working in VM however knowledge of supply chains, scenography, interior fixtures or furniture construction alongside an excellent understanding of both print and construction materials would be advantageous.
This role will report into the creative manager and is offered on a full time, permanent contract.
As the senior window project manager, you will be responsible for the project management of all global and local window campaigns. In this role, you manage, the project coordinator, the critical paths, production processes, cross departmental collaborations and supplier relations to ensure impactful, timely, and quality store windows.
Responsibilities:
- responsible for project managing the development and roll out of visual material for stores globally, from design concept to project wrap up
- lead and manage the window project coordinator. guide, support and develop them to deliver inspiring windows
- drive communication with all stakeholders at each project stage to identify potential risks and build strong collaboration in order to find solutions
- support regional teams as the main point of contact for all window campaign information.
- actively source and manage relations with external suppliers to review window material and negotiate cost that best support the designs’ timings, budget and sustainability requirements
- collaborate with H&M production offices to ensure they have a clear understanding of our design, quality and sustainability expectations
- partner with marketing project managers and producers to align deliverables and timelines
- influence, inspire and energise others, creating a strong working relationship within the window team and wider COS teams
- manage the budget for each project at all stages of production, for cost effective decision making and planning
- regularly review production processes, identify issues and development needs and make adaptations to best support the business in the short and long term
- build, maintain, and drive the critical path utilising project management tools to ensure all stakeholders aware of deadlines
- undertake supplier and material research to support the development of future window strategies
- attend and manage window installations where required
- manage some administration tasks including processing expenses and invoices where necessary
Qualifications
- excellent planning and organisation skills with proven project management experience for global activations.
- proficient knowledge and experience of using Excel
- ability to cope with a high workload/multitask
- good leadership abilities, able to lead a colleague and build relationships with other stakeholders
- excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- the ability to be flexible to change and work well under pressure
- the ability to work well with others and happy to take direction as well as suggest new ways of doing things
