- confidence in providing guidance and support to junior team members; able to effectively communicate and delegate tasks to ensure project deadlines are met by the team
- display aptitude in the use of software titles appropriate to the role, as set out in the practice software skills matrix
- visualisation and graphic skills
- hand drawing, sketching and other forms of visual communication
- be able to contribute to and help produce specifications
Your duties will include (but not be limited to):

- work as project architect under the direction of the Associate, project director and directors (at the directors’ discretion)
- prepare and develop drawings, models, images and other documents relating to the design where required
- take responsibility for specific areas of the design and project development where required by the project architect
- work diligently, efficiently, to a high standard and in accordance with CP procedures and standards
- take a highly proactive approach to client requests
- liaise where appropriate with members of the external design team and other associated organisations and companies
- maintain a full understanding of all regulatory hurdles to be satisfied such as planning permission and building control approval

- regularly report to the project director and director in charge on progress and any issues that may arise
- assist in the coordination of the internal design team
- seek and record evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) as required in the CP learning and development strategy
- contribute or otherwise assist as required
- support office wide initiatives and take on other non-project duties as required
