Studio manager

Fathom Architects is seeking a studio manager to join its team in London.
Fathom is a young, collaborative architects studio based in Bermondsey, London. Depth is what we do – depth of complexity, depth of collaboration, depth of care.
We’re looking for a motivated person who wants an active role in supporting the expansion of the studio over the coming years: someone to oversee the day-to-day operations in the Fathom studio, maintaining an organised but creative working environment with an eye on both physical and mental welfare.
Position: 2 days per week – in the studio
Salary: £30-35k pa pro rata, depending on experience
The role is perfect for someone keen to be a part of a team and contribute to our lively studio culture
The role will evolve, but current responsibilities include:
- HR
- facilities management
- front of house
- health and safety
- policies
- office administration
- liaising with IT consultants
- providing support to the partners on the effective running of the practice
Skills needed:
- strong interpersonal, communication and leadership
- good decision-making and problem-solving
- personal organisation and responsibility
- using initiative
- excellent written skills
- MS Office
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- experience working in an architectural environment preferable
