Interior designer

Kanvass is hiring a mid-weight interior designer to join its team in London.
Requirements
An individual, who is highly proficient in AutoCAD is needed to support the team in producing designs from concept to completion. Knowledge in both the creative and administrative elements of FF&E with excellent materiality understanding is also required.
Working alongside the head of design and directors, you will be exposed to a fast-paced design studio, hands-on experience and the opportunity to develop as a designer through every stage of the design process.
The role is based from our office in Waterloo two to three days a week and the others working from home, because of this you will need a proactive and hands-on approach whilst using your initiative to complete tasks.
Additional skills:
- minimum of four to five years industry experience
- be highly organised and meticulous
- be self-motivated and ability to meet strict deadlines
- be a team player able to contribute and provide support to all members at Kanvass
- produce impressive design presentations
- produce accurate technical drawing information
- knowledge to produce FF&E schedules
- in-depth understanding of AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop and SketchUp
- strong communication skills
- fluent in English, both verbal and written
