Variant Office is seeking architects to join its team in London.
We are a design-focused practice working predominantly in the residential sector for private and commercial clients across London and beyond. Our small group of architects and designers have a passion for high-quality sustainable designs. We encourage experimentation in materiality and technology and recognise the value of attention to detail and collaborating with other design disciplines and crafts.
We are currently seeking like-minded architects or architectural designers to work on a series of new and exciting small to medium scale residential and commercial projects.
Ideal candidates should be passionate about design and have a few years of experience in all RIBA stages, with good design, technical and communication skills.
The position requires an understanding of what it takes to design and deliver carefully crafted residential projects and bespoke developments, therefore evidence of detailed design, production information and delivery stages, as well as good knowledge of the building regulations and technical standards is expected. Experience in planning stages and design standards would also be desirable.
We use AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Adobe suite, Rhino, and Microsoft Office, among others. Good knowledge of these is preferred but not essential.
The position is permanent, full time, and available immediately.
Salary would be based on experience.
