We are connected globally, with over 500 employees in seven offices across the world, and offer opportunities to work collaboratively with colleagues overseas. We want our staff to be fulfilled and grow during their time with us: the key to our continuing success is working with and engaging the most talented people we can find.
Essential Requirements:
- one to three years post-qualification experience within large scale mixed-use urban/master planning projects and design (project experience in rail or aviation would be advantageous)
- contribute to wider framework strategies, emerging urban layout and public realm design
- strong ability with AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Suite. Computational design, Bentley Environment and GIS would be advantageous
- experience or an interest in coordinating multi-disciplinary input into a coherent design
- general enthusiasm in creating exciting quality places around major institutions within the city
For all of our roles, strong communication skills and an understanding and appreciation of our design ethos are crucial.
We are committed as a practice to achieving only net-zero carbon ready designs by 2025: sustainability is at the core of all our work, regardless of location. All staff are expected to help us realise this ambition by engaging in training and discourse.
Grimshaw is an equal opportunities employer. We welcome people from all backgrounds and recognise that in order to be successful, we need to create an inclusive environment where everyone can reach their potential and succeed.
Any offer of employment with Grimshaw will be conditional upon you having the right to work in the UK.
The practice is currently working remotely however you will be expected to be able to return to the Studio, albeit in a flexible capacity, in the future.
