PLP Architecture is on the lookout for a talented marketing, communications and research candidate to support its London team.
We are a London based group of architects, designers and thinkers who value the transformative role of ideas and the capacity for architecture to inspire.
We have created some of the world’s smartest buildings, which redefine what it means to live and work in today’s cities: The Edge in Amsterdam – the greenest office building in the world; The Collective Old Oak – world’s largest co-living space; Sky Headquarters – awarded best workplace in 2017.
We are a non-hierarchical, collaborative, multi-disciplinary practice with the culture of a young start-up.
We are seeking a talented and motivated head of communications to support us in our mission and work with us in our studio.
We are looking for someone who:
– has a background in either architecture, journalism, PR, research, marketing or communication within the creative industries
– has excellent communication skills and, most importantly, a talent for writing concisely and clearly
– is self-disciplined, entrepreneurial, and confident in a creative environment and can work independently as well as part of a group
Responsibilities will include:
– developing project narratives
– compiling project information and creating press releases and packages for the media
– preparing newsletters, internal and external
– identifying and coordinating speaking opportunities and exhibitions
– coordinating PLP’s internal lunch time talk series
This is a full-time position with full benefits.
