Soundings is seeking a studio receptionist or assistant to join its team in London.
About us
Soundings is a community and stakeholder engagement consultancy working on some of the most significant and challenging built environment projects in London and the UK. We are a friendly team of 25 people working alongside sister company, Fluid in the heart of Shoreditch. We come from a range of backgrounds including architecture, planning, urbanism and communications, with the common purpose to deliver better places through active participation.
About you
You are friendly and efficient with heaps of common sense and excellent communication skills. You enjoy being the lynchpin that keeps everything running smoothly in a busy studio. You have a ‘can do’ attitude and are full of ideas to make our studio a great space to work in.
This is an exciting role waiting for someone to come in and make it their own. It offers the perfect opportunity to build a career in office management or arts administration.
You will be required to attend our Shoreditch Studio five days a week between 9.00am and 6.00pm.
The role:
- running the reception desk answering calls and managing mail and couriers
- keeping the studio and meeting rooms tidy and presentable
- being the point of contract for our external IT company
- assisting the HR manager
- supporting the finance officer
- helping with events logistics
- managing all studio external suppliers including our cleaning contractors, landlord, stationery suppliers, recycling, groceries,
- supervising our studio improvements
